About
If there is anything I know in this world, it's that we need more storytellers. They make the mundane a little more magical.
According to my family and the evidence sitting in my memory box, even before I knew the alphabet I was scribbling on sheets of lined paper for hours, telling a story with an arsenal of words I didn't know. It is my goal to tell stories—both real and fictional.
From my experience, stories are powerful. The fictional ones allow an escape from the stress of reality. These are the stories that spark magic and creativity—the ones that dare us to dream. The real ones—the stories about wars and people fighting to survive—are just as important. They are the ones that educate people and rally for change.
I want to change the world through my writing. It does not matter if the subject is real or fiction, or if it's through a script, novel, or article. With just the right words, I can influence thousands of people to smile, to hope, to love, to fight, and most importantly: to have empathy.
